The refuge
The Amitges Refuge is a high-mountain refuge (2,365 meters) belonging to the Centre Excursionista de Catalunya, located within the Aigüestortes and Sant Maurici National Park.
Situated in the mountains, the building is seasonally open, and it provides accommodation, meals, and services to hikers and other guests that want it. When the staffed section is closed, a 12-person emergency shelter remains accessible.
